What is Paint Correction?
Paint correction is a series of processes to perfect automotive paint using high speed polishers combined with compound and polish. It is important to remove scratches, swirls, and any other imperfections in the vehicles paint before applying ceramic coating and locking in the paints finish.
Paint correction is vital to the ceramic coating process because once the ceramic is applied and cured, its seals in all the paint correction work underneath. Combining a series of compounds and polishes are a part of the prep for ceramic coating. This is a very important step, as it helps ensure the condition of the vehicles paint is as close to perfect as possible.
Every vehicle is different when it comes to how aggressive and which level of paint correction is needed. Even brand new cars have swirls and scratching. Never assume a new car doesn’t need any polishing at all. They can receive swirls and imperfections from transport, getting checked in at the dealer ship, being prepped for the lot, and customers looking at them; by this time a lot of hands have already been around and on the car that the opportunity for damage to the clear coat is very likely.

What is Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic Coating is a long lasting and durable protective coating that out performs and outlasts other waxes and sealants on the market today. Because ceramic coating is made up of silica dioxide (SiO2) and graphene creating a quartz like finish and bond, this creates an extremely hydrophobic layer of protection for your paint. This is installed by hand and once cured forms a nano-ceramic shield above your paints clear coat.
Ceramic Coating just like Ceramic Window Tint helps stop UV Rays from damaging your vehicle.
This nano technology helps fill in minor cracks and divots to provide and extremely flat and hard layer of protection for your vehicle. Professional Ceramic Coating is rated at a 9H or above on the pencil scale of hardness.
The Ceramic Coating Process
The Ceramic coating is applied by hand, using a soft microfiber applicator. We apply a small amount of coating to the applicator, then we evenly coat the car in a cross-hatched pattern to provide full and even coverage of the panel.
After allowing the coating to bond to the clear coat and set, roughly 30-60 seconds, we then remove the excess coating.
What are the advantages of Ceramic Coating?
The number one benefit to ceramic coating is the level of protection it provides to your cars exterior from UV light, tree sap, brake dust, acid rain, bugs, and other contaminants. The hydrophobic surface makes the car ultra-slick, which helps the water to just bead off with little effort.
Ceramic coating makes maintaining your vehicles exterior appearance incredibly easy. We always suggest a yearly ceramic check up and boost, beyond that washing and drying the vehicle is the only maintenance required. With the ceramics hard nature it is typically harder than your vehicles OEM clear coat. Helping improve scratch resistance for your vehicle right behind Paint Protection Film, helping provide the highest gloss possible. Once a coating is applied you will not need to apply polish, waxes or sealants for the longevity of the ceramic.
